The original picture was taken on Christmas Day in 1985, the last Christmas the Jensen Family was together as One.
The Quote
“Family is Everything” is a coin I first appreciated when my brother, Michael (center front) used the phrase when counseling me over a family flap.
I later gave Mike a framed copy of this photo with the headliner in an engravement for his Fiftieth Birthday. The phrase has since become a mantra of sorts found throughout my writings— and my life.
The Original
The original photo of our family at Christmas is the only that I am aware that exists with all seven of we The Jensen clan.
I have always treasured it.
As I do my brother Mike’s memory.
He was truly the best of us.
